ISLAMABAD – Opposition leader in National Assembly Khurshid Shah underlined the need for across the board accountability.
Addressing an All Parties Conference on Farmer issue, he said that accountability should be done to all and it should not be confined to political leaders. He said that farmers were backbone of Pakistan and had been given relief during the Pakistan People Party’s regime.
He urged the government to make better policies for prosperity of the farmers’ community. Khursheed also lauded services of Chief of Army Staff for Pakistan and military. He stressed the need for devising a strategy to secure the bright future of next generation.
PPP’s leaders including Information secretary Qamar Zaman Qaira and Nafeesa Shah were also present in the conference.
