ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif expressed plans to bring Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) at par with other parts of the country.
Nawaz said – in a statement on Friday – that social, economic and constitutional reforms will be introduced while all the discriminatory laws will be abolished from the FATA region.
The prime minister said that FATA’s people have sacrificed a lot for the country. Nawaz lauded the affection and passion of the tribal people for Pakistan and guaranteed that FATA’s people will decide the region’s future.
